SAILING CAMP DETAILS
The camp provides the opportunity for children to get to know the parts of the sailing boat, learn how to rig, and direct independently the boats.
After the theory basic training, you will learn how to direct the Laser Bahia sailing boat put into operation in 2018 and the always confident Kalóz type sailing boat first with oar, later with sail. We will sail on a reduced Olympic route where we bring a bit of competitive spirit in the tasks. Our aim is that children shall be able to learn to sail safely under the supervision of an instructor, while they are enriched with great experiences, and they will really understand and love sailing.
By the end of the sailing camp, they will become manschafts (assistant crew) who feel safe on board in any conditions and who will be the useful helpers for their parents, either in open water or in case of mooring, or as a young helper (competition helper under the age of 14) they can use their knowledge at a sailing competition.
The location of the camp is the UNI port area, which provides comfort and proximity to water for the children during the entire duration of the camp. During the camp, we provide supervision from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., which guarantees the constant safety of the children for the parents.
